Legends of Superheroes (1979)

Wow!!! Yes, that's Adam West dressed as Batman with Burt Ward's Robin (and Green Lantern's there too).

This TV special from 1979 was found by Warner Bros', mislabled and stored in a salt cave in Kansas apparently! It's now available to buy (exclusively) on DVD from the WB shop but unfortunately they won't ship outside America (sorry Ned, I did try to buy it for you).

New 'Batman' movie shooting next year

Gary Oldman told crowds at Comic-Con 2009 that the next Batman film will start shooting in 2010, scheduled for release in 2011.

"You didn't hear that from me" Oldman added.

Warner Bros have yet to comment but you can be sure it'll happen.

Yay!!!

Ryan Reynolds to become Green Lantern

This is the news that is getting the comic nerds really excited! Ryan Reynolds will be the first actor (apparently) to star in both a DC and Marvel film to be released in the same year. The other film is Marvel's Deadpool by the way!

Reynolds, a huge comic fan, must be loving this.

Watchmen - The Motion Comic

This is what I'm watching at the moment. I think its better than the movie.

Watchmen (2009)

Watchmen looks pretty awesome judging by the above trailer. Its adapted from the DC graphic novel by 300 director Zack Snyder. Its also co written by David Hayter, the voice of Solid Snake from the amazing Metal Gear video games!

The Dark Knight (2008)

Here's the most recent picture released for the forthcoming Batman movie, The Dark Knight.

Superman : Doomsday (2007)

Here's a trailer for a new Warner Bros. (straight to DVD) animated feature. I wouldn't mind seeing this, its the really famous story about the death of Superman!

Here's the official website.

The Dark Knight (2008)

Here's some images from the new Batman movie (I thought it was going to be called 'The Dark Knight Returns'?). I'm really looking forward to this.

Check out Heath Ledger as the Joker, he actually looks the part despite the flak he's getting on the web.

I quite like the look of the Bat-Bike (I think the official name is Bat-Pod at the moment).
