Max Payne (2008)

Remember the Max Payne video game from Rockstar Games studio? Well, its going to become a movie at last.

Its probably a bit too late if you ask me, while the games are really good they've kinda been left behind now with endless other video game series out there emulating a similar formula.

The last game Max Payne game; The Fall of Max Payne came out five years ago. There are rumors bouncing around the internet of a third game currently in development. That would certainly warrant a movie title if successful.

Anyway, IMDb have a page for the Max Payne movie with (Marky) Mark Wahlberg down for playing the lead so thats a good sign things are moving forward.

Thanks to my good friend Hempknight for telling me about this.

Ghostbusters 3???

As IGN report, this poster was seen at a recent convention in San Francisco. What does it mean? Is it to promote the forthcoming Ghostbusters video game or the release of the two films on UMD & Blu-Ray? Is it a teaser for a possible 3rd film?

Watch this space!

Here's some footage from the new video game, available at the end of the year if things go to plan.

Highlander: The Game

Highlander: The Video Game, this could be interesting. Developed by the Tomb Raider producers Eidos, this will be coming out later in the year for Xbox360, PS3 & PC.

I wonder what other old film's would now make decent video games? I've said it for years that Lethal Weapon would be perfect as a co-op detective/shooter/driving game. I know Heat is being made into a game at the moment, that should at least have that awesome street shootout.
